This isn’t a place for your CV, but include experience that demonstrates your value.
Make sure you say your name as soon as possible – people want to connect with a human.
Be brave and add photos of yourself (and use a Heading 3 for a sub section like this):
There are three places set up on this About Page template:
- As a Featured Image, which will show at the top and bottom of your page.
- In the dedicated boxes below – the boxes are great if there are two of you in your company
- Within the page, as you can see below this list:
A photo of you within the body of text – add a caption with your name to help you SEO
Add testimonials
Set up an About Page testimonial rotator by clicking on Testimonials on the left of your dashboard, and allocate relevant testimonials to this rotator. Choose ones that focus on your particular skills.
Add this rotator anywhere on your page by clicking on the “Add Rotator” box above.
The rotator below displays a single testimonial:
Add a button
Link to another page on your website, so visitors can find out how to work with you. This helps search engines and AI understand your website’s structure.
Write the button text and highlight, then click on the “Button” box above and paste in the link.
Add boxes
More than one team member? Add a box for everyone. Insert in page by clicking “Insert Box” above, selecting the category, and choosing the number columns – here, it’s About category and 2 columns.
About another
Add an individual photo of any team member or colleague, with their name and pertinent details. Tick the “About page” category on the right and publish.
About you
More than one of you? Add individual boxes, with a photo, your name and some pertinent details
You can choose whether you box has a solid colour behind the title in Customiser -> Advanced -> Box options.
